Katie Gibilterra, LPC-Associate

Supervised by Jalaine Pazer, LPC-S

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Midwestern State University. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with understanding, authenticity, and compassion. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship and family conflict, stress, and life transitions. My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to make meaningful change.

My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based method that explores the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful patterns and develop practical strategies that promote emotional growth and resilience. One of my favorite reminders (both personally and in my work) is that “stress is relative.” It looks different for everyone and affects each person in unique ways. I strive to honor those differences by tailoring therapy to meet each client’s individual needs, strengths, and goals.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my dog, Gumbo, my fiancé, and my family. I also love painting, cooking, and traveling, all of which allow me to stay creative, present, and connected to the people and moments that bring me joy. I am grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside clients as they work toward healing, balance, and a renewed sense of peace in their lives.
